Welcome to West Riding Anglers
Founded in 1891, the West Riding Angling Club stands as a respected institution catering exclusively to its members. This esteemed club holds access to prime stretches along notable rivers, including the River Wharfe, River Calder, River Swale, River Ure, and the River Nidd, offering an array of angling experiences in the picturesque Yorkshire region. In addition to these river stretches, the club manages two tranquil still water venues—one situated in Sherburn in Elmet and the other within the scenic Harewood estate. Members of the West Riding Angling Club not only enjoy the exclusivity of their angling pursuits but also contribute to the club's legacy of conservation and responsible fishing practices that have been upheld for over a century.
We are a member only club and do not allow day tickets on any of our waters.
For more information or if you are interested in Joining the Club please contact us at westridinganglers@gmail.com or fill in the online application form (Offline form available on request).
